![]() ![]() Initially, when opening the game it stated that it couldn't because I wasn't running Directx11, I tried -dxlevel90 through Steam Launch Commands and Crossover Launch Commands but neither of those worked. I had googled playing AoE as downloaded from Steam and it seemed possible so I took the plunge and bought it, downloaded Steam in Crossover and then downloaded AoE through Steam. I downloaded Rollercoaster Tycoon a couple of weeks ago and was able to run it using Crossover, and Wine Devel so I know it can be done with some games at least and that my operating system is not incompatible with Crossover. I'm also not the best at I.T stuff and have been learning as I go with all of this. I know macs are terrible for gaming, sue me. I use a 2013 Macbook Air that is still on Mojave, 10.14.5 to be exact.
